Miss Rebecca Heib - Owner/Director, Licensed Music Educator
Miss Rebecca Heib truly understands the incredible gift of music and the power it has in the lives of children. Being the daughter of a professional dancer and the granddaughter of a concert pianist, Rebecca grew up in an environment where music and dancing were a fun and regular part of her childhood - which grew into a love for the arts. She played violin for 12 years, studied voice through private instruction, and was actively involved in musical and dramatic productions all throughout her youth. During High school and College, Rebecca pursued professional dance and took many ballet and jazz classes at Spectrum Dance Company and Cornish College of the arts in Seattle, WA.

Along with her musical talent, Rebecca greatly enjoys the wonder, curiosity and enthusiasm of children! She has over 24 years of experience in working with children, both in a classroom setting as well as one to one. Rebecca has worked as an instructor in the Bellevue College Parent Education Program and has been a public speaker for many parenting groups including P.E.P.S, Mothers and More and M.O.P.S. Rebecca has also spent the last 14-years teaching music classes to young children at a preschool in Bellevue and at two local Montessori's.

Rebecca has been involved with Kindermusik since 1997, and has experienced the joy and power of enriching children's lives through music and movement in a variety of ways for more than 2 decades. From 2001 to present Rebecca has been awarded the title of Kindermusik Maestro by Kindermusik International, an honor given only to the top 1% of teachers in the World.

Through Rebecca’s many years of working with children, she brings a wealth of experience, education and excitement into each class. And with her extensive background in working closely with families comes a genuine compassion and understanding for each parent in wanting the very BEST for their child!
