Miss Rebecca Heib - Owner/Director, Licensed Music Educator
Miss Rebecca Heib truly understands the incredible gift of
music and the power it has in the lives of children. Being
the daughter of a professional dancer and the granddaughter
of a concert pianist, Rebecca grew up in an environment
where music and dancing were a fun and regular part of her
childhood - which grew into a
love for the arts. She played violin for 12 years,
studied voice through private instruction, and was actively involved in musical and dramatic productions
all throughout her youth. During High school and College, Rebecca pursued
professional dance and took many ballet and jazz classes at Spectrum Dance Company and Cornish College of the arts in Seattle, WA.
Along with her
musical talent, Rebecca greatly enjoys the wonder, curiosity
and enthusiasm of children! She has over 24 years of
experience in working with children, both in a classroom
setting as well as one to one. Rebecca has worked as an
instructor in the Bellevue College Parent Education Program and has been a public speaker for many parenting groups including P.E.P.S, Mothers and More and M.O.P.S.
Rebecca has also spent the last 14-years teaching music
classes to young children at a preschool in Bellevue and at
two local Montessori's.
Rebecca has been involved with Kindermusik
since 1997, and has experienced the joy and power of
enriching children's lives through music and movement in a
variety of ways for more than 2 decades.
From 2001 to present
Rebecca has been awarded the title of Kindermusik Maestro
by Kindermusik International, an honor given only to the top
1% of teachers in the World.
Through Rebecca’s
many years of working with children, she brings a wealth of
experience, education and excitement into each class. And with her
extensive background in working closely with families comes
a genuine compassion and understanding for each parent in wanting the very
BEST for their child!

Miss Megan Andrews - Licensed Music Educator
Miss Megan has a great love of music and a passion for
teaching young children. She began sharing her love of music
and teaching with her nephew, now a self-taught musician,
and has continued for the last 18 years to share the gift of music and education with children.
Miss Megan began her
teaching experience in college as a Marine Science
Instructor at the infamous Sea World in San Diego,
where she shared information and led children and families
in educational workshops which included songs and games.
After working at Sea World for six years, she received her
Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. An integral part
of this education was extensive studies in music education
and early childhood brain development. Miss Megan also received her certificate as a
certified sign-language instructor, and has years of
experience in teaching both children and parents
sign-language.
Miss Megan spent the next five years working as an
Elementary School Teacher and continued her education
through seminars, workshops and masters courses on child
development and teaching techniques for young children. Miss Megan has spent the last
seven years teaching her star pupil, her 7-year old son and
her 2-year old daughter, everything from their ABC’s to
singing and dancing! Your children will love to sing, dance,
and play along with Miss Megan too!

Miss Linda Joul - Licensed Music Educator
If you've ever watched Mary Poppins, you've
probably already met Miss Linda...well sort of! Coming from
her native England with her British charm and witty
enthusiasm, both you and your child will be instantly won
over with Miss Linda's friendly charisma and joyful
demeanor!
Miss
Linda truly enjoys working with children and also has
a great love of music! With over 25 years of experience
working with families, Miss Linda brings a wealth of
compassion and understanding for children into her classes.
She
gained her degree in Early Childhood Education at the
Bristol College of Early Childhood Education and Care, and has
worked with children ages from birth to 8 years in a variety
of settings including working as a Nanny, in Preschools,
Hospitals and Residential Care, and teaching children with
special needs. Since moving to the Puget Sound area from her
native England she worked at Bellevue College in the
Parent Education Program for five years, and at present spends her mornings
at The Children's Studio Preschool in Bellevue, along with teaching Kindermusik
at The Musik Nest.
She has sung in several choral groups over the past ten
years, including the choir at her current church; and has
always enjoyed sharing her love of music with young
children. She continually incorporates music
education as a vital part of her teaching and is excited to combine
these passions in the Kindermusik program. Come and join one of Miss Linda's
classes, where everyone can have fun singing, dancing,
discovering, and smiling
together.

Miss Marika Galvin - Licensed Music Educator
Miss Marika has a very musical background and loves working
with children. She has a minor in Music from UC Davis,
plays piano, has taken years of voice lessons and dance.
She has in performed musical theatre productions and sung
with several choral groups. She has also directed vocal
shows, including one children's musical. Miss Marika became
a licensed Kindermusik Educator in 2003 and has since taught
and subbed many Kindermusik classes. She now takes excellent
care of all of our families needs as our Office Manager for
The Musik Nest.
Marika has two amazing boys: Brady (age 9) and Trevor (age 5), who both started Kindermusik with The Musik Nest as
infants and have flourished through this great program!
Other than her part-time work with The Musik Nest, she is a
stay-at-home mom, enjoying the growth and development of her
two sons. She has participated in Parent Education through
BCC, loves to volunteer at her older son's elementary
school, and is actively involved in a local mom's club and
babysitting co-op.

Miss Sarah Reyes - Licensed Music Educator
Miss Sarah was born
and raised in sunny Yuma, Arizona. She has a love of music and since her early
childhood has been deeply involved in music through musical
theatre, solo work, musical ensemble, and community choirs.
In high school, she was president of her school's show choir
and made a name for herself when she took part Ed McMahon's
"Next Big Star" national talent contest in 2001, and won the
title of first runner up! Miss Sarah has a Bachelor's Degree
in Theatre Performance with a minor in music from Northern
Arizona University and has spent much of her life singing,
acting, dancing and performing on stage.
Miss Sarah has several years of experience working with
young children. She has worked as a professional nanny, and
she worked her way through College as a certified
Kindergarten through 12th grade substitute teacher for three
different school districts. Miss Sarah was a
Choreographer and Assistant Musical Director for the Yuma
Community Theatre, where she worked with young children in
the musical "Oliver!" In addition to working with children
and music, Miss Sarah enjoys hiking, running, baking, taking
cooking classes, and she loves Disneyland! Miss Sarah
is thrilled to share her love of music and her passion for
teaching children with all of her Musik Nest Families!
