Miss Rebecca Heib truly understands the incredible gift of music and the power it has in the lives of children. Being the daughter of a professional dancer and the granddaughter of a concert pianist, Rebecca grew-up with music and dancing as a fun and regular part of her childhood – which grew into a love for the arts! She played violin for 12 years, studied voice through private instruction, and was actively involved in musical and dramatic productions during her youth. Throughout her childhood and into College, following in her father’s footsteps, Rebecca pursued professional dance and took many Ballet, Modern, and Jazz dance classes at Spectrum Dance Company and Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.

Along with her musical training, Rebecca greatly enjoys the wonder, curiosity and enthusiasm of children! She has over 24-years of experience in working with children, both in a classroom setting as well as one to one. Rebecca has worked as an instructor in the Bellevue College Parent Education Program and has been a public speaker and educator for many parenting groups including P.E.P.S, Mothers and More and M.O.P.S. Rebecca has also spent the last 18-years teaching music & movement classes to young children at local preschools and elementary schools.

Rebecca LOVES sharing music with children and has been involved with Kindermusik since 1996. She has experienced the joy and power of enriching the lives of both children and families through music in a variety of ways for more than 2 decades. From 2000 to present Rebecca has been awarded the title of Kindermusik Maestro by Kindermusik International, an honor given only to the top 1% of teachers in the World!

Through Rebecca’s training and her many years of working with children, she brings a wealth of experience, education and excitement into every class. wendyMiss Wendy Woods – Licensed Music Educator

Music has been an important part of Miss Wendy’s life from early on. As a child, she can’t remember a time when her house wasn’t filled with…wait for it…The Sound of Music! This was due to her father who taught music and directed choirs before he retired as Music Department Head at Northwest University in Kirkland. She was classically trained in Piano, Theory and Voice in her early years, has sung in choirs since she was twelve, and has been directing children’s choirs for over 20-years.

During college, Miss Wendy started teaching Piano and soon discovered a passion and love for teaching! As a young wife and mother, she returned to school and earned her teaching credentials and subsequently a Masters of Teaching in Literacy. She continues to take classes that include working with both autistic children and those who have exceptional abilities. Her work experience includes teaching preschool, elementary school, middle school, and home-schooling her son, as well as over 35-years of teaching Piano and Voice to both young children and adults.

Miss Wendy has an enthusiasm and joy that is truly contagious! She enjoys teaching music classes to young children that include both high-energy activities and thoughtful reflection, and she has learned through her many years of teaching that children learn best through play when they’re having fun! Miss Wendy is passionate about sharing her love of music and education, and can’t wait to engage your child in the rich musical activities, as well as help educate on the value of early musical education.
